Vermillion Films is a Birmingham-based video production company, and we are celebrating a record year and recently celebrated 10 years in business. We want to share some of that success with the city we started in. The company has always been Birmingham-based and although we’ve developed a national and International client base and produced work globally, Brum has always been a focus and a haven of ours.
We’ve been involved in various charitable activities over the years, members of the team have been board members and trustees of local organisations such as the Birmingham Leadership Foundation, Flatpack Film Festival, The Producers Forum and the West Midlands Screen Bureau as well as providing pro bono services to organisations that haven’t had the resources they deserved such as Birmingham City Ladies Football Club. We feel like the city has been good for us and to us so as a result, we want to share some of our success and would like to contribute to the local community in some useful way.
We are currently looking for a local charity in need of a top-quality film. We want to work with a smaller, local organisation that would consider the kind of quality content we provide for global brands as being a luxury that might ordinarily be out of their reach.
We’ve brought concepts to life for top brands including Jaguar, JCB, Polar, tiney, Fullers Beer and Greene King. We want to create a promotional-style video for a local Birmingham-based charity to enable them to broaden their audience and help to raise money and awareness for their cause. Vermillion Films would be working on a pro-bono basis which would allow the charity to reinvest directly into the heart of its cause and help to build its charity. And we do so much corporate video we’ve got a page dedicated entirely to how to do corporate video well, particularly in Birmingham.
As an award-winning film company, we make branded content, corporate video and TV commercials for small businesses and global brands. The films which we create for our clients have a clear sense of purpose, a well-defined audience and a specific intended result. Our team will work with you to define your goals and then we’ll apply our own creativity, film production skills and resources to make something magical. If you would like to look at some of our work, visit our socials @vermillionfilms or check out this for Chivas Regal and FilmAid, or this for childcare startup tiney.
Vermillion is made up of a small band of passionate and committed filmmakers who are excited to offer this opportunity back to the company’s hometown, Birmingham. We can’t wait to collaborate with a charity who are just as passionate and excited as we are.
